Rapper Lil Durk found not guilty on all charges in murder-for-hire trial

Lil Durk was jailed in federal custody after his October 2024 arrest, primarily over allegations that he orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo.  Federal prosecutors alleged that the plot was retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von, Durk’s close friend and fellow OTF rapper. They claimed Durk put a bounty on Quando Rondo and that OTF associates traveled to Los Angeles in August 2022 to carry out the attack. Rondo survived, but his cousin Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson was killed.  Durk was held without bond while awaiting trial, rather than serving a sentence following a conviction.  There has also been a major development today (September 11, 2026): Durk was reportedly acquitted in the murder-for-hire trial.

Today is 38 days before Lil Durk's 34th birthday.

This acquittal comes 47 weeks after his arrest.
Today is 56 days before King Von's death anniversary.
