On April 2, 2026, U.S. Attorney Ryan Rabel announced federal charges against Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty (Lontrell Williams Jr.), his father Lontrell Williams Sr., and seven others. They are accused of kidnapping and armed robbery during an incident at a Dallas music studio on January 10, 2026.

According to prosecutors, the suspects allegedly lured victims to the studio under the pretense of a business meeting, pulled out firearms, assaulted the victims, and stole jewelry, cash, and other valuables. The case reportedly stems from a record deal dispute involving Gucci Mane’s 1017 label.
